Setup PIXMA MX925 Series Wireless ConnectionThis page tries to help you how to Setup a wireless PIXMA MX925 series connection. Printer PIXMA wireless connection Wireless compatible allows you to print from your PC, Tablet or mobile phone without having to connect the cables. And to find instructions on how to setup the wireless connection on the printer PIXMA MX925 and also how to reset printer to factory settings. Some access points such as routers or hub, features a button labelled connection automatically (WPS). This allows device permitted on PIXMA MX925 to connect to your network without the need to enter the password and allows quick and easy method of connecting your device. This method allows you to connect the PIXMA MX925, so if You have the access point WPS button please select the tab ‘ WPS Connection Methods ‘ below for instructions on how to connect using this method and steps.

If your router does not support WPS connection method to have alternative instructions provided on to get your PIXMA MX925 connect so please select the tab ‘ standard ‘ connection method below.

WPS connection method

Before you start, make sure some of the conditions that must be met to use the WPS button method:

  • Make sure that the access point must have a physical push-button WPS available, check with your device’s user guide for details.(If Your WPS push button is not available, then please use the instructions in the standard connection method tab).
  • Make sure your network must use Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) or WPA2 security protocol on your device.

Step 1

1. Press [Menu] button on your printer.

Step 2

1. Use the buttons to navigate to the [Wireless LAN Setup] or [NETWORK Setup] icon and press [OK]

Wi-Fi would have appeared (blue) lights on when the wireless connection is turned on, and the printer automatically search for an access point that supports the WPS feature.

Step 3

  1. Press and hold the button [WPS] at the point of access for about a few seconds, then remove
  2. Press the [OK] on the printer in about 2 minutes, then the Wi-Fi light will Flash (blue) on your printer when searching for or linking to an access point
  3. When the screen below appears, then press [OK] to finish setting

Standard connection Method

Step 1

1. Press [Menu] button on your printer

Step 2

  1. Use the buttons to navigate to the “wireless LAN configurations” or “WLAN Setup” icon and press [OK], then the (blue) light, free Wi-Fi on when wireless connection is activated

Step 3

1. Press [Stop button Reset, then the following screen will be displayed

2. Choose [standard Setup], the Printer will search for all available wireless networks around you

3. Use the button to highlight the name (SSID) of your wireless network, then press the [OK] button to set the selected

If you are not sure of the name of your wireless network, possibly on the label is printed on Your access point, or by checking the network your computer is connected to. In addition, if you cannot view your network listed, then press the left function, and [Search again

4. a screen will be displayed on the printer, this is dependent on the security method that uses Your access point.

5. Press the [OK]

6. Enter the password you have network (WEP key or passphrase), you can enter character when the keyboard is displayed on your printer

Follow the procedure below:

a. When the on-screen keyboard appears, then press the function button to move to the Center, a keyboard that supports the characters that you want to use

b. Use the buttons to choose characters from your keyboard, press [OK] to enter it, enter the characters that appear at the top of the keyboard the screen

c. If you need to delete characters, and then press right function key [Del characters]

d. Repeat and to enter the remaining characters

7. Press the left function key to select [done], when you have finished entering Your network password

8. Make sure that the network password is correct

9. Press the left function [end Setup] to connect to your network

10. If the screen below appears, then press the [OK] to return to the menu screen

Restore network settings PIXMA MX925 back to factory default settings

If you need to reset Your network settings back to factory default, like for example if you change Your access point, then you can do so by following the instructions on the following steps:

Step 1

1. Press [Menu] button on your printer

Step 2

1. Use the button to navigate to the icons [configuration]
2. Press the [OK]

Step 3

1. Use the button to navigate to the icons [device settings]

2. Press the [OK]

Step 4

1. Use the button to navigate to the [LAN settings]

2. Press the [Ok]

Step 5

1. Use the button to navigate to the [Reset LAN settings], then press the [OK]

3. Use the button to select [Yes], then press [OK] to confirm the reset. Screen processing. ” Wait a moment ” will be shown

4. When finished, the following screen is displayed, press the [OK] to complete the process of resetting the LAN.
