Guide to help you, when you want to print from the Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch to a printer PIXMA using Apple AirPrint. The information can we explain on this page on how to use Apple’s AirPrint to print wirelessly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to printer Canon PIXMA. Enabling AirPrint printing your photos, instant email, web pages and documents from your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, with no need to install drivers or download the software, just simply select your printer and print the AirPrint.

Use AirPrint, you will need Apple’s AirPrint compatible printers PIXMA and one of these Apple devices running iOS Apple operating systems such :

IPhone 3GS or later
All iPad models
IPad touch 3rd generation or later

Apple devices and PIXMA printer that you want to use to connect to the same wireless network.

Printing on iOS devices


Most of the prosudur may differ very little from your display depending on your device and iOS version you install, but the functionality will be the same.

  1. Check that the device You turned on Canon PIXMA printer and connected to the same wireless network as your Apple deviceF
  2. rom the app on your device, setting, this depends on the iOS version You have installed, and to display the options menu, tap Print
  3. From the [Printer Options] Select PIXMA model you use


Make sure that you are within range of your printer. All AirPrint-enabled printers, then the distance will be displayed

4. Select the number of copies you require, turn the double sided printing if needed, when it’s ready (print) press to start printing

These are some applications do not support AirPrint and printer options are not shown. If an application does not let You access the printer, then you cannot print from your application.

Printer options may vary depending on the application and the printer that you are using. If you press print and select the model name of the printer, the option displayed will include up to four of the following options:

Printer: Select a model that can be used on wireless networking/WLAN
Copies: select the number of copies to print
Range: page ranges can be used only with certain applications and file types such as PDF file
Double sided printing: If the model supports double sided printing, you can select On/Off

Supported paper size in the paper size with AirPrint, which are automatically selected according to the application that is being used on Apple devices and regions where AirPrint is used.

When Apple’s photo app is used, the default paper size to 4 x 6 or KG.
When the document is printed from the Apple Safari browser, the default paper size A4 in Europe.
